Have you heard of the “R.I.C.E” Method?

Having lots of interaction with people who spend a lot of time in the gym working out, I first heard of the RICE method years ago. RICE stands for rest, ice, compression, and elevate. It is a first aid method that is commonly used for injuries like strains, sprains, and bad bruising caused by muscle pulls. It can definitely help someone recover from an injury quicker than “toughing it out” without any healing practices at all.

But did you know that using a PLorigin pain relief product like Polar Pain or the original Pain & Inflammation Salve (P&I) after the RICE method can aid in healing even faster? And with less pain?

Simply apply a small amount to the palms of your hands once you have your legs (or arms/shoulders/etc) elevated and rub your hands together to warm up the salve. Then apply the salve by gently massaging it onto the injured area (always rub up in the direction of your heart) for at least 30 seconds. Reapply as needed for pain relief.
